Storyline:
Famed mystery writer, Mort Rainey (Depp) is confronted by a mysterious stranger outside his house. This stranger calls himself John Shooter (Turturro) and claims that Mort has stolen an idea for a story from him. Mort says he can prove he wrote his first, but whilst Mort waits for the evidence to appear, Shooter starts to become more and more violent.

This is one of the few roles I saw Depp play that wasn't Jack Sparrow and he was great. The plot was also pretty good but I would expect nothing less from King himself. I'm a bit surprised at the reception this movie got, as just another average film. I thought it was definitely at least above average. About a 7 out of 10 is what I would say. Don't overlook this film it is pretty good all around.
